Gently exfoliate your skin at least 24 hours before your appointment. This removes dead skin cells, ensuring a smooth and even canvas for your tan.
Avoid using any moisturisers, lotions, or oils on your skin the day of your appointment. These can create a barrier and prevent the tan from developing evenly.
Schedule any shaving or waxing appointments at least 24 hours before your tan. This helps prevent irritation and bumps that could affect the tan's appearance.
Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment. This will minimise the risk of staining your clothes with the spray tan solution.
For your first shower after the tan, keep it short (30 seconds or until the water runs clear) and use lukewarm water. Pat your skin dry with a towel, and skip the rubbing.
Wear loose-fitting, dark-coloured clothing for the first 12 hours to avoid any rubbing or staining.
Glow More: Avoid sweating or strenuous activity for at least 24 hours after your tan application to allow it to develop fully.
Wait 16-24 hours after your tan before applying moisturiser for the first time. Then, moisturise your skin daily with a product free of oils and fragrances to maintain the tan's vibrancy.
From day 4 onwards, consider using a gradual tanning lotion or moisturiser to enhance your tan's colour. Apply it every other day, and remember to switch to gentle exfoliation once the tan starts to fade naturally.
Avoid using harsh skincare products or exfoliating aggressively while your tan is still present, as it can cause uneven fading.
